What Makes A Great Auto Repair Shop?
Sherwood Auto Repair is family-owned. We’ve been in the business of repairing vehicles since 1986. The '80s were great, but a lot has changed since we paid an outrageous 89 cents a gallon for gas, and first heard Maverick and Goose say the words, “I feel the need...the need for speed.”* What hasn’t changed is cars still need repair, and people still value good customer service.
Since we opened in 1986 we’ve seen shops come and go. We’ve become an established and respected service business because we see auto repair differently. We’re business owners, but we’re also consumers. Our approach to auto repair came from asking ourselves what we’d want in a shop if we were a customer, and then we designed the business to reflect that. Whether you’re a current or a future customer, here are some examples of how our customer-focused approach has enabled us to provide quality car repair services for more than 30 years.
It’s Probably Your Flux Capacitor**
When your car breaks down the last thing you want to do is search for a good shop, but it happens - people move, businesses close, or maybe you’ve had a bad experience and decided it was time to find a new shop. When you’re under pressure to make a decision it’s harder to see things clearly. And sometimes, that’s exactly when unscrupulous businesses swoop in and take advantage of customers, convincing them into expensive and unnecessary repairs. Take some time to locate a shop before you need it. Ask family and friends for recommendations and look at customer comments and online reviews. Make sure they’re certified and have been in business for a while. At Sherwood Auto Repair we want to build relationships that last so customers never have to search for another garage.
Auto Shop Seeks Long-Term Relationships
We value the relationships we’ve developed with our long standing customers. In some cases we’ve served as their preferred garage for so long, now we service their kid’s cars, too! We also love hearing a new customer tell us how happy they are to have found us. Our continued commitment to quality work and excellent customer service make it possible for us to develop long term relationships with happy customers who refer us to their friends, which leads to new happy customers.
We Only Hire Certified Technicians
All of our technicians are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, ASE. Providing the best service means not only having the right staff, but staying informed about the latest technology available and updating equipment and service as the world of auto repair evolves.
Surely You Can’t Be Serious***
It’s surprising how often we hear customers say their last shop didn’t tell them what repairs were going to be done until they got the bill. At Sherwood Auto Repair, we believe it’s important to take time and explain to our customers in plain language exactly what needs to be fixed and why, and obtain prior authorization for all work to be performed. You deserve to have all your questions answered to your satisfaction. Our team delivers quality service through technical expertise, and earns your trust by communicating with you honestly so you know what we need to do to correct the existing problem, and what items are recommended for preventive maintenance.
When you bring your car into Sherwood Auto Repair, we automatically perform a detailed, comprehensive inspection. We like to think of our inspection process as a physical exam for your car, and we keep track of everything in your car’s health record for the life of the car. In partnership with our customers, we help you keep your car in great condition for as long as you want to drive it.
We Warranty Our Work
If we were a customer, that’s what we’d want. At Sherwood Auto Repair we perform quality work and then stand behind it by including a warranty for 36 months or 45,000 miles. We care about your experience and want you to be satisfied.
There’s lots of competition when it comes to auto repair. For car owners, that means finding a place they trust that offers the service they deserve every time they visit. Come see for yourself what makes Sherwood Auto Repair different.
We don’t want to be just another auto repair shop.
We want to be your preferred garage.
Sherwood Auto Repair - Your Preferred Garage
Thinking about the 1980s made us nostalgic and we just couldn’t stop ourselves from including a few pop culture references. This time, they’re films from the '80s.
