Felix LaPlante
Owner/Technician

Felix established Sherwood Auto Repair in 1985. He began his automotive career over 35 years ago. He received his formal training from Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute. Felix is a trained GM Master Technician. He is certified through Automotive Service Excellence as a Master Automobile Technician, Master Medium Truck Technician and Under Car Specialist and Parts Specialist. He specializes in DEQ, Engine and Transmission Repair. His Professional Memberships include Northwest Automotive Trades Association and NFIB. His son Scott and wife Sally are his partners at Sherwood Auto Repair. He and Sally love to travel and are avid wine collectors.

Scott LaPlante
Owner/Technician

Scott grew up working by his Dad's side in their original shop in downtown Sherwood. He received his formal training through Portland Community College- Automotive Technology. He is certified through Automotive Service Excellence as a Master Automobile Technician, Advanced Engine Performance Specialist and Under Car Specialist. He also holds Oregon Department of Environmental Quality certification as an Advanced Automobile Emissions Specialist. Scott is a member of the Portland Community College Automotive Advisory Board. His areas of expertise include Four Wheel Drive Conversions, Fuel Injection Installation, and Advanced Drivability Repair. He is also a member of The Brush Busters Four Wheel Drive Club. Scott is married to Kelly, they have one son.

Angel Ramirez
Technician

Angel joined us in 2003. He started his automotive career in the exhaust business. Angel works closely with Felix and Scott and has proven to be very adept at learning many new aspects of the automotive trade. Angel frequently takes automotive related continuing education classes and plans to begin testing for certifications through Automotive Service Excellence. Angel has lived in Oregon since 1997 and is the father of three children.

Rudy Bohm
Service Advisor

Rudy joined our team in 2002. He is the voice you'll hear whenever you call. Rudy prepares estimates and advises on the repairs your vehicle needs. He also helps keep us on task throughout the day by ordering parts and monitoring workflow. He is certified through Automotive Service Excellence as a Service Consultant and Parts Specialist. Rudy grew up in Sherwood and is familiar with the area as well as many of the families who do business with us. We hope you'll enjoy meeting him.
