                     Scott Laplante

Spending his whole life in an automotive repair shop groomed Scott to lead and grow the business. A graduate from Portland Community College with a degree in Automotive Service Technology he obtained ASE Master Certification status by the age of 21. Serving on the automotive advisory board at PCC and later becoming the chair of that board. It is Scott’s sincere desire to serve all of our customers’ needs, taking into consideration any vehicle that may be in a household fleet. His interests outside of the shop involve running and cycling as well as spending time with his girlfriend Triana and his two sons Alden and Oliver.  Together they enjoy exploring the west in search of hard to reach hot springs, fishing holes and camping sites to pitch their rooftop mounted tent.

Bob has a rich history of automotive experience. Starting out in the automotive parts industry, and spending the past several years as a service advisor. With a strong focus on building relationships with our clients, Bob is the welcoming face and voice of Sherwood Auto Repair.  In his free time, he enjoys wood working and working outside in the yard but if he had his way he would travel the U.S. with his RV in tow exploring the country and sitting around a camp fire!

Kevin has been with us for many years.  He started at SAR before graduating from Portland Community College with his associates degree in Automotive Technology. He splits his free time between four wheeling one of his Toyota trucks and riding dirt bikes or quads. Many of Kevin’s interests growing up make him a very well rounded technician with motivation to find the best fix for any situation he encounters.  He is extremely capable of service and repairing all makes and models, he has a special place in his heart for Toyota branded vehicles and is well versed in hybrid vehicles and light diesels.

Nate comes to us with a degree in Automotive Technology from Clackamas Community College. We enjoy Nate’s sense of humor and love of all things Chevrolet, he even named his dog Chevrolet Silverado!  His eagerness to learn and grow make him a tremendous asset to Sherwood Auto Repair. Newly married, Nate and his wife are building their lives together.  In his free time, Nate enjoys restoring old GM's and motorcycles.

Audrey has been with Sherwood Auto Repair since she was 15! Over the years she has held many posts from landscaper and shop assistant to shuttle driver and administrative assistant. Her help around here keeps things running smoothly. She fits us in to her busy schedule at school and her quest for world domination.


Katie is the newest member of the team! She made the transition to cars from the kitchen. Previously a culinary arts graduate Katie decided she enjoyed using tools and developed an interest in all things automotive. As a student in Portland Community College’s Automotive Technology Program she earned high accolades and many scholarships. We are excited to welcome her to the team and unleash her fresh education!

Now retired, Felix is the founder of our establishment. His operating principles and old fashioned New England “can do” attitude guide our operations here at Sherwood Auto Repair. With some more free time on his hands he enjoys taking care of special interest projects a his home shop and spending time with Scott’s kids.
